Cosplay Carnival is our first event for the year. It's organized by Cosplay.Ph, the same company who does the annual NexCon and Cosplay Mania. I honestly don't know how this one differs from their other events, but I have a reaaaally good feeling that it'll be a blast! 8D (And I'm usually right, mind you!)

It's been a while since our last event, so this is something I'm really looking forward to. Not only will it be held within the village I *technically* reside in (as a married spud, I have a hard time letting go of my childhood home, okaaay?), I will also be selling a selection of pre-owned apparel and some extra wares my mom hoarded from Japan! So yes, there will be a mix of kawaii gift shop AND garage sale happening at the Curls & Twirls booth exclusively on this event only! :D

And guess what? FREE ENTRANCE, babies! \m/

How to get to the Hollow Box? If you're okay to commute, you can always ride a tricycle to take you there. Just tell the driver "Sa Ma. Ascuncion Spiring, manong!", and pray he/she knows the place. Otherwise, refer to the map below:

Otaku Fest 2013 Floor Plan - Visit Us! :)

Heads up! 

Below is the floor plan for the Otaku Fest 2013 this coming weekend. As you can see, Curls & Twirls' booth is near the entrance. Click the image for a larger view.

What to expect, you ask? Various contests and competitions, maid cafe's, displays and exhibits, and indie artists abound! There will also be free samples from Mogu Mogu and guest appearances from a number of famous cosplayers. For more info, you can check out Otakuzine's FB page. ;)

Tickets will be sold on-site. We weren't given word of the price, but it will most likely be around P100 or so per head. Make sure you get there early to avoid the looooong waiting line!

Oh-No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2 Floor Plan - Visit Us! :)

Heads up! 

Below is the floor plan for the Oh-No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2 this coming July 7, 2013. As you can see, Curls & Twirls (along with Azalea and Gyaru Shoppe) is located at booth #8. Click the image for a larger view.

What to expect, you ask? Why, LOTS, I tell you! This year's event will have assorted displays, a photo studio for cosplayers, LOADS OF FREE STUFF (Mogu Mogu's, anyone? :3), Gwiyomi Challenge, Indie Islands and MORE! To see the complete list of fun activities, just visit Oh-No! Manga's official FB page. The link is at the bottom.

Now, as for the admission, tickets are already being sold at your SM Cinema outlets for P150/head. If you like crowds and are patient enough to wait in a looooong line, you can buy them onsite. But seriously, go get your tickets early; it's less hassle that way. =]
