"The Little Mermaid! :) My mom always has fond memories of me as Princess Ariel during our graduation performance back in pre-school (I really wanted to be Flounder, but the role sadly called for a boy). Then, there's the neon pink Ariel lunch box and matching bag I've been carrying around in grade school - adamantly refusing to exchange it for some other design (like Barbie - not that I don't love it!). My mermaid-themed party for my 7th birthday was also such a big hit! And until now, I'd keep on singing their theme song like it was my own national anthem. Even as a kid, I was always so in love with Ariel and Eric's love story. Suffice to say, The Little Mermaid has been my top favorite since childhood! :">"

I know that this is late and I'm super duper sorry for lagging behind again because playing Xbox Kinect is just sooooooooo addicting. ^^; I don't have any other excuses to keep you guys entertained, so let's just go straight to the point(s), shall we~?


NEW TERMS & CONDITIONS:
(Effective January 31, 2011)


1. CREDIT CARDS VIA PAYPAL NOW ACCEPTED. Yes, you read that right! For orders amounting to P500 and above, you can now use your credit cards to pay us. And like any other credit card transaction, we shall be making an appearance on your recent billing statements as PAYPAL*CURLSTWIRLS. Isn't that cool~? This is applicable to both domestic and international transactions with a surcharge of 3.9% + $0.50 USD.


2. MEET-UPS MOSTLY ON WEEKENDS. The boyfriend has decided to switch agencies for the umpteenth time so there may be changes to our meet-up schedule yet again. Please bear with us (especially him); finding the "perfect job" is hard. And by "perfect", he meant one that doesn't take a huge chunk off your monthly wage to cover energy/miscellaneous office fees. For now, our most certain bet for meet-ups is every weekends. To our meet-up pals, you're free to contact me anytime and see if we can arrange something to your convenience. Just please take note of what I've stated here. ^.~

3. INSURANCE INCLUDED ON SHIPPING RATES. This is now a mandatory, loves! I'm honestly getting tired of hearing complaints about lost or damages packages, because we're NEVER the ones at fault for that. I carefully inspect all items myself and wrap your packages as securely as I can (and you know just how well that is!), but once I hand them out for shipping, even I cannot guarantee their safety in the couriers' hands. This is where INSURANCE comes in, people; GET ONE - rather, WE will get you one. Because as callous as it is for me to say this, but once a package has been surrendered for shipping, the seller is OFFICIALLY not liable anymore. Be it Xend, MC Express or Air21, we are going to insure your packages whether you like it or not. It's for your own (package's) good, after all.

I'm doing my very best to make Curls & Twirls a better and much happier shopping place for everyone, but it's going to take some time. ^^;

As you all know, Curls & Twirls has just turned 2 last Jan. 03, and I wanted to do something to celebrate it. No raffle contests or free shipping promos - and NO! Not another sale, for Jiminy Cricket's sake -; I wanted *something* DIFFERENT. And as I was scratching out my P100 worth of Globe prepaid card one idle afternoon, it hit me.

And now, I'm as giddy as a high school girl with a crush. Genius.

So what are these scratch tickets all about? They will be the instruments to celebrating Curls & Twirls' 2nd birthday. Each ticket has a prize, and you will be able to redeem it on your next purchase! :) No "Try Again's", people! All scratch tickets have a REAL prize printed on them; you'll just have to scratch it and see (for yourself) what you've won!

Oooh! How can I get a ticket? I have 25 scratch tickets with me, so starting today, our first 25 customers for this new year shall have (1) random ticket be sent to each of them along with their orders. No minimum amount of purchase/s required; just be one of the first 25 people to send in their ORDER FORMS.

I won a (insert prize here)! How do I claim it? You can redeem your prize on your next purchase. When signing the order form, simply input the UNIQUE CODE of your ticket in the comments/suggestions box, and you're done! Or you can simply scan the entire ticket with the unique code visible and e-mail it to us at curlytwirly.pyon@gmail.com. Whichever works for you, really. :)

What's a unique code? It's the 6-letter/digit code printed just below your prize that will provide the authenticity of your scratch ticket. It also ensures that a ticket can only be used ONCE. For an easier spot on, I printed them in RED.

What are the prizes for the scratch tickets? Prizes vary from double freebies, free shipping to percentage discounts. You'll just have to scratch and see for yourself! ;) However, one particular prize that you should take note of is the big 50% OFF, which can only be won by (2) lucky clients!

Business cards + pocket calendars! :D

I finally got around to finish the layout and have them printed out! I've been working on the perfect design since October until I suddenly lost interest with it. Thankfully, my inspiration resurfaced before 2010 ended, so now, Curls & Twirls will be starting a brand new year with a super cool!!! 2-in-1 business card and pocket calendar.

Here's how it goes: Every package I ship out, I'll include (2) business cards - (1) will be the 2-in-1 card for our customer (may our pocket calendar help you keep track of the date everywhere you go), and another is an ordinary business card, which we hope you'll give to a friend as some sort of referral. You can ask them to mention how you referred us to them, so we can give you something nice on your next purchase as a token of thanks. Nice promotional strategy, eh~? :3

In case you haven't noticed, there's only SEVEN days left for the "Triple Holiday Sale!!!". We've been thinking of a way on how we could end it with a bang, and finally, after a week's time of brainstorming, we gave up (!) and merely settled on the simplest (but arguably, the most effective) plan---

That's right! xD But this only takes effect on the Sample Sale album.
