Heads up!

Below is the floor plan for the Collecticon 2012 this Oct. 6-7, 2012. As you can see, Curls & Twirls is located at BOOTH # 51. Click the image to see the floor plan as a whole.

Now, what to expect? Booths and exhibitors that will offer different wares like cosplay materials, anime merchandise, and quirky toys and accessories from yours truly. Also, a collectors' display, toy auctions, trivia contests, photo contests, and the Superhero Costripper of the Day among many others.

This is sure to be TWO whole day of nothing but funfunfun, so if you have the time, do drop by (and maybe visit us as well? :3). It's FREE ENTRANCE/ADMISSION anyway.

Cosplay Mania '12: The Aftermath.

Success! 

It really was.

Too bad I'm still too tired from all the shenanigans that transpired in the past two days; otherwise, this entry would have been longer by *-----------------this-------------------* much. xD

Anyway, a big thanks to Cosplay.Ph for inviting us to be a part of this very, very cool event. REALLY! This year's Cosplay Mania was so much more fantastic than last year's. It was a biiiiiiiig improvement, and I SO dig the centrex wall and the signage above and the carpeted booth spaces where I could saunter around bare feet. xD The room could use a lower temperature, but the heat and very slight suffocation was to be expected with the throngs and throngs of people in the area. Still, everything was GOLD. We loved everything about this event, and that's all that matters. :)

To my dear clients, thank you so much for dropping by our booth! I'm sorry the Owl-kun Backpacks and the Drinking Dice got sold out fast. I'll do my best to restock them on our next event - which I'll be making an announcement of some time SOON.

For now, THANK YOU and we hope you had as much fun as we had!

Below is the floor plan for Cosplay Mania '12 this coming Sept. 29-30, 2012. Curls & Twirls and Twin Flames will be sharing Booth 32 at Block H. Click the image to see the floor plan as a whole. 

As mentioned, this year's Cosplay Mania will be one of the biggest events there is, with famous international cosplayers like Kaname and Reika as special guests! Tickets are already sold in your nearest SM Cinemas, so make sure you're there! 

For everyone's convenience, all con-goers will also be given a souvenir map so you won't get lost in the massive space provided for the event. Isn't that just thoughtful? xD

Curls & Twirls will be having a booth at TANABATA V - KIZUNA, another hot and cultural event by the same company that brought you Otaku Valentine Con 2012! The program proper looks VERY promising - there will be individual cosplays, drawing contests, karaoke contests and the much awaited TANABATA DANCE (which I'm SO gonna check out!). Admission is only P120 per head.

11th ToyCon Floor Plan - Visit Us! :)

Heads up!

Below is the floor plan for the 11th ToyCon this June 15-17, 2012. The boxes aren't numbered, but our merry band of five is located at BOOTHS # 117 & 118. Click the image to see the floor plan as a whole. 

The people behind ToyCon have announced yesterday at the exhibitor's briefing that tickets will be pre-sold NEXT WEEK at the Megatrade Hall Office only. We know how much of a hassle it is to get a ticket on the event itself, so if you're planning on attending ToyCon this year (which you SHOULD), we suggest you make the purchase as early as then.

Now, what to expect? Too many to mention, TBH. For the gist of it though, head on to ToyCon's official website and see for yourself!

6th TAGCOM: The Aftermath.

Oops!

I know this is a late entry, but I've been to engrossed with finishing the whole 10 seasons of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. to care. xD

I'll keep this short, okay?

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth during the 3 exhausting, but still incredible days of TAGCOM 6! I had no other stories (or words of wisdom) to share, because honestly, I was dead tired after everything, and I just wanted to hibernate for a week - which I did! :)) Anyway, just know that we're thankful. You guys are the reason why we still keep on doing this.

Many thanks to Hobbiworx for another successful event, especially to Sir Dennis, who is so very kind and accommodating even though we've only just met. Thank you for the free TAGCOM shirt!

Lastly, to Joanne of MyRottenShoppe, it was an honor sharing a booth with you. Let's do this again some time! I enjoyed talking to you a lot. :D

New items will be uploaded some time this week, so keep a good look out. For now, HAPPY EASTER!

5th PCC: The Aftermath.

The 5th PCC was, in a word, OVERWHELMING. Seriously.

I honestly wasn't expecting the huge amount of people who fought the crowd just to visit our booth and buy from us. The girls who went kilig~ over our handmade accessories, the boys who had fun playing with our squirt toys and Samurai Umbrellas, and our fellow 9gaggers who bought our special edition of Meme Button Pins! Really, guys, thank you so much! ^___^

Also, a heartfelt thanks to Cosplay.Ph and Hobbiworx for inviting us to be a part of such a wondrous event. We look forward to the next happenings from you! Sad that I wasn't able to get a table for Tagcom (I'm in the waiting list. T__T), so I guess Curls & Twirls will just have to aim for Collecticon or Cosplay Mania '12. ^^;

Special thanks to Jayne of Hatah! Hatah! for giving me pointers for future cons. Always listen to the 'veteran', they all say, and I feel blessed that she was kind enough to help us out. :) I know I said I'd visit their table, but the area was seriously busy that I couldn't even leave our booth for a quick bathroom break. xD Well, I'm sure all exhibitors can understand that. (But thank God I have an iron bladder!)

Anyway, pics will follow soon. The inventory will also be updated some time tomorrow (hopefully). Again, thank you for your continuous patronage!

So, yes, this will be our 3rd event; I'd like to think that we've come a long way since 2010's AME Track 10. xD

Now, what to expect? Booths and exhibitors that will offer different wares like cosplay materials, anime merchandise, and quirky toys and accessories from yours truly. Also, a cosplay competition, cosplay lounge, a gallery and the highlight of the day, the Cosplay Costume of the Year (2011).

This is sure to be a whole day of nothing but funfunfun, so if you have the time, do drop by (and maybe visit us as well? :3). It's FREE ENTRANCE/ADMISSION anyway.
